School Catering Team – Dolce
Discovery Trust are always seeking to enhance school communities across all Trust school and this year a key focus has been the school meals offer. As a Trust we recognise the importance of children being ready to learn and understand how fuelling our bodies with nourishing and tasty food can support this. We have worked hard over to review the catering provision across our schools and are pleased to be introducing a brand-new catering service in readiness for the 2024/2025 academic year.
Welcoming Dolce Education Catering
Dolce will be providing a fantastic new menu to our schools focusing on:
- Quality Ingredients: Home cooked food from raw ingredients.
- Nutritionally Balanced Meals: Menus designed by experts to provide tasty balanced nutrition for growing minds and bodies.
- Variety: Menu that offer something for everyone – children eating meals they love with full parent/child easy pre-ordering.
- Convenience: Why not say goodbye to packing lunches! Dolce takes the hassle out of meal preparation and provides on-line payments for ease of ordering.
- Allergen Awareness: Dolce take allergies seriously. Experts ensures that all meals are safe and clearly labelled which you can read more about online.
The school to offer a three-week rolling menu with three options to choose from each day. All meals are bookable via our online booking system Schoolgrid, where meals must be booked and paid for (if applicable) in advance.
We also host special themed menus at points throughout the year including Bonfire Night and Christmas Dinner.
